For all the factors which are found and prevail in our region, we are proud for our cooperative, founded in 1924 and situated 10 km from Kalamata, on the eastern side of the Messinian Bay in the Mani.
Our annual production is approximately 700 tons extra virgin olive oil.
Since November 1993, the Ministry of Agriculture in Greece, acknowledged our cooperative as producer of SUPERIOR QUALITY OLIVE OIL known throughout the world as KALAMATA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL and having met all the following conditions:
- No use of chemicals for the control of the insect, DACUS OLEA, and so, no remains of chemical are found in the olive oil produced.
- The olive oil produced is COLD PRESSED, thus all its natural goodness is kept intact.
- All machinery in our factory, including all storage tanks are made of stainless steel.
